Did you receive an email from a "Kofi Annan" from "United Nations" who says:
"How are you today? Hope all is well with you and family?,You may not understand why these mail got to you.We have been having a meeting for the passed seven months which ended two days ago with the secretary to the UNITED NATIONS. This email is to all the people that have been scammed in any part of the world, the UNITED NATION has agreed to compensate them with the sum of US$ 100,000. "?
All you have to do is contact "Mr. Jim Ovia" and given him some personal identification. And if you've been wondering what Kofi Annan has been doing since he stepped down as the United Nation's General Secretary, wonder no more! He's busy writing emails to everyone who has lost money in any internet scam, to them compensation. Oddly, such a highly educate man writes like a 5th grader, with numerous spelling mistakes.
But isn't it great that United Nations wants to compensate you? And to think, we thought United Nations was poor, but they have money to give away!
Of course, it is a scam! And although "Kofi Annan" says you are being compensated, ultimately, there will be "courier fees" or security fees or something that will require them to send you a check (which will be counterfeit), have you deposit it in your bank, then Western Union money back to them.

Notice some of the other obvious signs that this is a scam are poor spelling , use of free Yahoo/Hotmail/etc email accounts, proposals that make no sense, etc.:

This funds are in a Bank Draft for security purpose. so he will send it to you and you can clear it in any bank of your choice.Therefore, you should send him your full Name and telephone number/your correct mailing address where you want him to send the Draft to you.
